Ottawa Train Yards is Ottawa’s first centrally located retail power center and office development; it houses over a half million square feet of retail space, covering over 92 acres of property, and including
269,000 square feet of class-A office space.

This project used a web-based EC-Net-AX platform and ECB Series BACnet controllers for HVAC control, covering over 1,200 control points.

The products and methods used minimized downtime and tenant disruption.

The building automation system was designed to meet LEED Measurement and Verification requirements, which consist of controlling all mechanical and lighting systems as well as monitoring the electrical consumption, natural gas consumption, domestic water and CO2.
