Yaskawa is a <a href=\"https:\/\/bacnetinternational.org\/members\/\">Corporate Member<\/a> of BACnet International.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ed is a long serving volunteer with BACnet International and a regular contributor to one of our main organization objectives \u2013 education. He is a past Chair of SSPC 135 (the BACnet Committee), former long-time employee of Delta Controls, and most recently, former Technical Advisor for&nbsp;BACnet International. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why the Maverick Award?\u00a0 BACnet International wanted to showcase Carl\u2019s outside-the-box thinking.\u00a0Often the outlier, his desire to advocate for the alternative view point has been critical in technical discussions in the BACnet community.\u00a0The BACnet International team is grateful for his leadership and global contributions over the past years as technical advisor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:34px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BACnet International community is proud to honor two distinguished members whose contributions have led to increased awareness and improvement of the BACnet International association and the BACnet standard.
