BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) is updating the minimum protocol revision required for products entering testing. Beginning January 1, 2024, Revision 16 will be the minimum protocol and on January 1, 2025, Revision 18 will be the minimum protocol required for products entering testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As stated in the BTL Testing Policies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minimum Protocol_Revision is determined each January 1st and is the highest Protocol_Revision which has been available in a BTL Test Plan <\/strong>for at least 4 years. The schedule below indicates the specifics of how this will work for the next few years. See the BTL website for the current schedule.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
