Aachen, 31.08.2021. – The European BACnet community welcomes its newest member “OAS Open AutomationSystems GmbH”. The board of the BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) confirmed the new addition as of August 1. OAS is a provider for open energy management, building automation systems, and is a Tridium-authorized distributor of components from the Niagara® Framework.
“OAS is known for its modular components and OEM product developments,” explains Ralf Rostock, CEO of OAS. “Our products communicate with BACnet and other common protocols and offer seamless integration from the field level through automation to the cloud. The focus is on the end-to-end digitization of technical building equipment. Our online-based configurators offer planning aids for property design and building operation. Our cloud-based portal solutions support property integration with reliable visual orientation.”
With OAS as its youngest member, the network of European BACnet users has grown to 122 members. Building operators, planners, and facility managers are oriented towards the goals and solutions of the BIG-EU and appreciate the operational and investment security of the open BACnet communication standard even in times of increasing IoT solutions.
“We warmly welcome OAS to our community of interoperable solution providers,” says Karl Heinz Belser (JCI), president and founding member of BIG-EU. “With innovative companies like OAS, we are increasing our base for new applications and momentum in the advancement of BACnet applications.”
