The Queen Creek Library and Recreation Annex houses a library, three meeting rooms and a large recreation center with six classrooms and two multi-purpose rooms. The McQuay modular central plant is installed outside the building. The Modular Central Plant is integrated with the library’s Alerton building automation system using BACnet communications. The controls for the plant are run remotely from the Queen Creek development services building. The building automation system controls all energy management for the buildings, make it as energy efficient and time saving as possible.

McQuay Modular Central Plant, which is a pre-engineered, pre-assembled module that combines a chiller, boiler, cooling tower, pumps and interconnecting condenser water piping. This module also included a sealed combustion boiler.
