New Voting Member of BACnet Testing Laboratories Working Group Announced

Deborah Barrett, of Current Lighting, starts new five-year term as voting member

(Atlanta, Ga – June 23, 2023) BACnet International is proud to announce that Deborah Barrett will continue as a voting member of the BACnet Testing Laboratories Working Group (BTL-WG). Barrett was inducted during a BTL-WG virtual meeting on August 20, 2020, and will begin a new five-year term on July 1, 2024. The BTL-WG operates under the auspices of BACnet International.

“Deborah has been a long-time, valuable member of the BTL Working Group in multiple capacities,” stated Andy McMillian, BACnet International President. “We look forward to her continued service with the group.”

Barrett is a senior test engineer at Current Lighting and is responsible for working with developers and testing systems to ensure products meet both the functional and technical BACnet requirements from stakeholders. Her primary experience is working with and testing BACnet servers for networked lighting control products. As part of her role as a test engineer, she will continue to be a contributing member of the BTL Working Group.
